Have you ever thought about the travel of your new Christmas jumper or yummy seasonal treats on your table? From Asia, Turkey, Poland and all the far reaches of the globe, we support the ongoing movement of goods from material sourcing, manufacturing, production all the way to store delivery.
FESTIVE FREIGHT
Every night we are moving goods from the UK into Europe for distribution of some of Britain’s most loved brands with our valued freight partners DHL as well as bringing in parts to complete production here in the UK.
The real-life Santa’s elves are right here busily working 24/7 to support households, businesses and the economy. It’s hard work but if you have met anyone in logistics, we all love it!
CHRISTMAS FAVOURITES
The Christmas calendar starts as early as June for our team at Baxter Freight, who work with suppliers from the far corners of our planet to plan large shipments to travel by sea. We continually keep the festive supply chain moving by transporting everything from tiny toy parts to the main event of your beloved Christmas tree.
Speaking of Christmas trees, our road freight team start moving them in October, transporting the festive favourites all the way from Scotland across the UK.
Our Director of Operations, Jari, (pictured above) even organises a little drop off at our very own Baxter Freight offices in the Midlands where every member of staff is gifted a Christmas tree – lucky us!
Taking to the skies our air freight team are on hand for movement of the last-minute seasonal goods, which may be impacted by weather. This year the popular Snoodie is reigning supreme to stay cosy during the chillier winter months, Team Baxter have been working hard ensuring all your favourite stores have them in time for the big day!
