We’re delighted to announce that Baxter Freight has achieved Cyber Essentials accreditation, demonstrating our commitment to protect our systems, and to maintain robust standards of cyber security hygiene across our operations.
Backed by the UK Government, the Cyber Essentials certification was launched to help businesses of all sizes to protect their data and safeguard against the most common cyber security threats.
Being Cyber Essentials certified recognises that we have the necessary technical controls and procedures in place to protect our customers, staff and suppliers against online threats.
To become certified, Baxter Freight undertook a thorough review of our systems before being assessed against five key technical controls including:
- Firewalls and internet gateways
- Secure configuration
- Access control
- Malware protection
- Patch management
"Protecting our clients, suppliers and staff is a top priority at Baxter Freight, so we’re delighted to have achieved the Cyber Essentials certification in recognition of the robust measures we’ve put in place."
"Cyber security is one of the biggest threats facing our industry today, and we’re committed to ensuring that our systems and data are adequately protected. Being Cyber Essentials certified means our clients, suppliers and employees can be assured that their data is safe and secure."Gary Sawle, Head of IT at Baxter Freight
