Not just a day, but a movement.
Since the very first Earth Day in 1970, over a billion people have gotten involved to safeguard our planet and fight for a brighter future.
Being a logistics company, sustainability is involved in everything we do.
We know that sustainability is a journey, and we all have a part to play in raising awareness, and doing good for the environment.
That’s what led to the creation of our Sustainable Freight Network.
Our team of experts are here to share knowledge and innovate the practices of our internal team, customers, partners, and suppliers.
Guiding you through the complexities
Working in the logistics industry, we understand the importance of sustainability has on our customers, suppliers, and partners.
We get it, navigating sustainability can be complex.
With legislation being created and updated regularly, it can be hard to keep track of what your business needs to do to stay compliant.
From Scope 3 reporting to fossil-free logistics – it can be confusing to know where to start. But that’s where we’re here to help!
Our specialty lies in offering creative solutions, and we’re constantly wanting to innovate the services we provide. That’s why we partnered with Nottingham Trent University to help expand our knowledge through the support of academic professionals.
The partnership we have with NTU has also grown with the introduction of a Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) joining our Sustainable Freight Network, all focused on sustainability within the logistics sector.
Driving positive change
We know that real change starts from within, and even small actions can have a big impact.
From Lunchtime Litter Picking Club, to recycling bins dotted all over the Baxter Freight office (yes, even our coffee grounds are recycled!) all of Team Baxter do what they can for our local community, and environment.
This Earth Day, why not take some positive action? Our Sustainable Freight Network will be holding a FREE webinar breaking down all the jargon of sustainability, and the role logistics has on the environment.
