Baxter Freight  Terms

These terms and conditions are currently active

1. Invoices are to be paid 30 days from date of invoice.

2. VAT/Duty invoices are to be paid immediately

3. Invoice queries must be raised within seven days of the date of the invoice.

4. Overdue VAT/Duty amounts will bear interest at the rate of 1% per calendar month or part thereof. This rate

may be reviewed at any time in the Company’s absolute discretion

5. All business is undertaken as your agent and is subject to the latest British International Freight Association

terms which is available from www.bifa.org or from us on request (Membership No 3166). These terms may only be varied by a Director in writing.

6. You authorise us to make inquiries using a credit reference agency, and you agree, upon request, to provide more recent unaudited / management accounts.

7. By signing this application, you confirm that you are authorised to do so on behalf of the company requesting credit.

8. When determining the terms on which we will contract on your behalf we will use our experience and discretion in deciding what we believe to be necessary and desirable.

9. For the avoidance of doubt nothing in the terms agreed between us will limit any liability we may have in the unlikely event that any death or personal injury is caused by our negligence.’
