Salesforce Specialist

As a Salesforce Specialist, you will be an integral part of our mission to revolutionise our customer relationship management. You will take ownership of our Salesforce platform, driving technology, data and processes to optimise our capabilities internally and externally.
The impact you will have
You will play a pivotal role in managing and enhancing our Salesforce environment. You will collaborate with various departments to understand their needs, configure and customise Salesforce to meet those requirements, and provide ongoing support to ensure the system’s effectiveness.
Your expertise will contribute to our overall success by improving our processes and helping our sales, marketing, and operational teams achieve their goals.
A typical week
- System Configuration: Customise and configure Salesforce to align with business needs, including designing custom objects, fields, page layouts, flows, and processes.
- User Support: Provide day-to-day support for Salesforce users, troubleshoot issues, and resolve user queries promptly to ensure smooth operations.
- Data Management: Maintain data integrity through data cleansing, de-duplication, and regular data imports. Create and manage data reports and dashboards for various teams.
- Automation: Develop and maintain automation processes using flows to streamline business processes.
- Security and Access Control: Manage user profiles, roles, and permissions, ensuring appropriate levels of access and security within the Salesforce platform.
- Integration: Collaborate with IT and other teams to support the integration of Salesforce with other business systems and applications as needed.
- Training and Documentation: Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for end-users. Create and maintain documentation for processes and procedures.
- System Upgrades and Maintenance: Stay up to date with Salesforce releases and enhancements. Plan and execute system upgrades and maintenance activities.
- Reporting and Analytics: Create and maintain reports and dashboards to provide insights and drive decision-making within the organisation.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimisation within Salesforce and make recommendations for enhancements.
Is this role for you?
- You have a solid understanding and working experience within the Salesforce Platform
- You have the Salesforce Administrator certification (ADM 201)
- You have proven experience as a Salesforce Administrator, with a strong understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities
- You have implemented Salesforce configuration changes, including (but not limited to): Flow, fields, page layouts, record types, custom settings, dashboards and reports
- Gathering requirements and proposing technical solutions
- Understanding of Salesforce sharing and security (roles, profiles, permissions, OWD, sharing rules)
- Ability to communicate with non-technical colleagues
