The impact you will have
You will take ownership of shipments once they are booked, making sure freight, full loads, and part loads move smoothly across Europe.
Every day will bring new challenges, from coordinating with hauliers and customs agents to resolving issues, and you’ll be the one keeping everything on track.
By staying proactive, solving problems quickly, and communicating clearly with customers and partners, you’ll play a key role in delivering outstanding service, ensuring compliance, and building the strong relationships that keep our operations running and our business growing.
A typical day
- Managing import and export shipments, ensuring compliance with regulations and smooth movement across borders.
- Preparing and verifying all documentation required for European shipments.
- Coordinating with partners, hauliers, internal custom teams and external agents to arrange transport and clearance.
- Monitoring deliveries and collections in transit, resolving challenges encountered during the journey.
- Communicating clear and timely updates to customers, colleagues, and third parties.
- Coordinating alternative arrangements when required to maintain service commitments.
- Ensuring adherence to company procedures, service levels, and KPIs.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in internal systems for traceability and performance monitoring.
- Building and sustaining strong working relationships with suppliers, carriers, and partners.
- Collaborating with colleagues and third parties to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Recording and reviewing operational issues and solutions to support continuous improvement.


Is this role for you?
- A 2:1 degree, preferably in Supply Chain and Logistics, or experience in a similar freight/logistics role.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage and control multiple shipments simultaneously.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Confident decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong IT skills, including MS Office.
Desirable
- Knowledge of import/export regulations, customs procedures, and documentation requirements.
- Experience using Salesforce.
- Numerical and analytical skills for reviewing shipment data and documentation.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with suppliers, carriers, and partners.
- Experience in a fast-paced logistics or supply chain environment.
