Introducing Tom Isler

We’d like you to meet Tom, our Key Accounts Manager here at Baxter Freight. The success of Tom and his team depends on building relationships with suppliers to deliver innovative and exciting solutions which will create new opportunities for all parties.

In May, Tom will be with a Team from Baxter Freight who will be meeting with potential freight and warehousing partners at the Transport & Logistics show in Munich.

Tom-Isler-Baxter-freight

Tom’s focus at Baxter Freight is supporting our largest and most important customers with their ongoing supply chain challenges and delivering excellent customer service.

“I always try to approach the freight business with the customers’ intentions in mind and concentrate on the clever ways I can deliver that. “ – Tom Isler

This isn’t the easiest thing to achieve, and it requires a lot of discipline and drive to be on top of all the challenges and opportunities in the constantly changing European freight market.

New opportunities for freight suppliers through building close relations

To achieve this, he’s always pro-actively looking for new ways for doing things to ensure that the customers get the best possible service. This often means working with new freight suppliers and developing with them to offer a solution.

For instance, Tom created a solution which allowed one of our existing suppliers to gain a new contract by sourcing and administrating the installation telemetrics for their vehicles.

What are we on the lookout for?
Tom is seeking a range of suppliers for freight work across Europe and he always welcomes new ideas.

In particular he would be interested in anyone who could offer:

  • Hanging garment containers from Turkiye or Romania
  • Hauliers that offer Turkish imports to UK
  • Any 6fold telematic active hauliers.
  • Especially any in the heavy haulage
  • Any suppliers who are already onboarded onto sixfold and FORS.

Join us on our Green Logistics journey

Sustainability in logistics is a key focus for both Tom and Baxter Freight so we would love to hear from any haulage companies who want to join us on our green journey.

“I am looking to build a roster of suppliers who are engaged with a greener way of thinking that will meet the rising market demand for carbon management“ – Tom Isler
