This International Women’s Day, we’re shining a light on our team and celebrating women in logistics.
Since this time last year, we’re proud to have introduced 4 new female-led management roles, as well as having promoted our first female director. With 58% of 2021’s new recruits female, today, our team is over 50% female, demonstrating our commitment to providing equal opportunities and exciting career paths for everyone, no matter what.
Our recruitment policy, coupled with our flexible and ‘life-first’ culture, means we’re able to access a wider talent pool, in turn giving us a natural 50-50 split across our business. We believe in flexibility, such as adapting working hours away from the traditional 9-5 that can sometimes limit people who are parents. Giving all our people balance naturally increases the number of women applying to our roles, in turn supporting our vision to recruit the very best people, regardless of other priorities, without restrictions.
We know there’s still work to be done, and this is just the start. Help #BreakTheBias by sharing your pics on socials – we’d love to see them too by using the hashtag #WomenInLogistics
